He taught at Department of Journalism, Manasa Gangothri and Maharaja College between 1995 and 2000. He started his career as a reporter to “Lankesh Patrike” in 1990 and continued to work for it till the demise of its editor. He went on to edit a weekly by name “Janaandolana”
Mr. Lokesh cultivated his interests in theatre, literature and photography in his student days and many of his photo features have appeared in many dailies and magazines.
An exhibition of his photos was held at Art Gallery of Rangayana titled “Kaada Badukina Haadu-paadu” from 12th December 2003 for a week.
Greetings containing wildlife photographs and extracts of Kannada poetry of a range of poets were released in December 2004.
He has planned to take his journey across the state with his photographs to bring about awareness about wildlife. |
